Philip Harris Foundation Physics - Inclined Plane
Product code: AP00054187
Product Description
Foundation Physics - Inclined Plane
Please Note: The Foundation Physics Universal Stand is not included with the Inclined Plane and will need to be purchased separately using code PP00054183.
- The Foundation Physics range centres around the Universal Stand and includes accessories which allow a wide range of experiments to be conducted. Each add-on includes a comprehensive instructional guide with student tasks which are linked to the curriculum.
When used with the Foundation Physics Universal Stand, the Foundation Physics Inclined Plane students can perform accurate experiments on acceleration, Newton’s laws, and friction. The cart that is included is designed to for riding down the bearing of the ramp so it will ever fall off the track. There are numbered increments along the side allow students to take measurements during experiments or with the photogate system (not included), which clamps easily to the side for greater accuracy.
Using the pre-mounted pulley on the plane’s end with a mass and string, students can create a modified Atwood machine. The attached protractor also allows for easy angle measurements.
