Product Description
The Replacement Electrode is the spare pH electrode for the HI-98100 Checker Plus pH meter and the Groline pH Tester. Replacing the pH electrode is both quick and easy. Simply unscrew the old probe and fit the new one.
Replacement Electrode is a single junction pH electrode with a slim 8mm polypropylene body that easily fits into test tubes and other small-sized vessels.
Can also be used with the Checkfridge® Remote Senor thermometer.
Storing your electrodes correctly is a vital part of maintenance, preventing contamination and ensuring accurate measurements when testing pH.
Why not use water?
Deionised or distilled water shortens the lifespan of your electrodes. Plain water causes the salt contained in the reference cell to diffuse out - leading to slower response times when testing.
Storage solution is specifically formulated to maintain the concentration of salt required for the reference cell, while preventing your electrode from drying out.
Use storage solution consistently for electrode longevity.
